The 35th annual Miami Film Festival kicked off with a star-studded night at the Olympia Theater downtown. Miami Film
Festival director Jaie Laplante greeted directors and actors on the red carpet, including opening night movie Tully director Jason Reitman. Reitman arrived with new girlfriend and actor Ron Livingston who also stars in the movie and also famously known for movie classic Office Space.
Also in attendance was two-time Academy Award-nominated director Djmon Hounsou, who is in town for his movie, In Search of Voodoo. Hounsou is famously known for his movie, Blood Diamond, which starred Leonardo DiCaprio.
Miami Film Festival runs through, March 18.
