ICA Miami Speaks Series with International and Miami artist Hernan Bas took place in the Miami Design District. The art chat series, made possible by the Lampert Family Foundation, was filled to capacity to hear one of Miami's most prolific artist taking his art around the world.
Bas spoke about his many past art styles and subjects as well as history of his career and current exhibits at the Savanna Art Museum. One of our favorite works are a flower series which he covers with blinds. Quite unique. Hernan Bas also released a book on Rizzoli.
Guest in attendance included: Nexus magazine's Susanne Birbragher, Oscar and Carole Spikily, ICA's Tommy Pace, Elizabeth Schwartz, and journalist Lydia Martin.
The ICA series and programming is a prelude of what's to come when the museum opens its new home museum in the Design District on December 1st. Follow them @ICAMiami. SEE MORE PHOTOS
