Miami Art Week is off to a great start with a reception in honor of Italian architect and designer Gaetano Pesce at the Setai on Miami Beach.
Gaetano Pesce career spans more than four decades of great work including architecture, drawings, painted floors, lamps, expressive containers, and women accessories. His works continues the rich tradition and the contemporary relevance of the great creators of the Italian Renaissance.
Guest included artist Chuck Close, Pritzker Prize Laureate Jean Nouvel, Ralph Nakash, Sarah Arison, Cathy Leff, Michele Oka Doner, Sir Norman Rosenthal, Tatyana Silva, designer Niki Haas, Bass Museum's George Lindemann and Silvia Karman Cubina, Cultured editor Sarah Harrelson, Martin Rozenblum, Laura De Gunzburg and hosted by Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn and Paul Johnson.
